摘要:
STEAM教学的有效性问题,是决定STEAM教育能否长远发展与深入应用的根本性问题。STEAM教学本身所具有的诸多不同于传统课堂教学的本质特征,决定了教师不能完全照搬传统课堂教学情境下有效教学的标准,来评价STEAM教学的有效性。美国STEAM教师在实施STEAM教学中的具体举措与经验,为探讨STEAM有效教学的设计与实施提供了新视角。STEAM有效教学体现出五个关键特征:一是以真实问题的解决为重要导向;二是以得当的学科整合为基本依托;三是以必需技能的培养为实践重点;四是以艺术的深度融合为发展趋势;五是以公平的教学参与为根本原则。在具体的实施路径上,一是精心准备教学设计,保障STEAM教学质量;二是充分利用教学资源,创设STEAM教学条件;三是灵活开展教学评价,促进学生持续发展;四是积极参加专业培训,提升STEAM教学能力。
Abstract:
The effectiveness of STEAM teaching is the key issue that determines whether STEAM education can maintain long-term development and deep application. Many substantive features that STEAM teaching possesses, different from traditional classroom teaching, have determined that teachers should not fully follow the effective pedagogy standard under the traditional classroom situations to evaluate the effectiveness of STEAM teaching. Some specific practice and experience in STEAM teaching done by teachers in the U.S. provide a new perspective for discussing the design and implement of effective STEAM teaching. The effective STEAM teaching reflects five key features: (1) regarding real problem-solving as the important guide, (2) proper subject integration as the basic support, (3) essential skill training as the practice focus, (4) deep integration of arts as the development tendency, and (5) fair pedagogy participation as the fundamental principle. In terms of the specific implement approaches, we should first carefully prepare pedagogical design to ensure the quality of STEAM teaching. Secondly, make full use of teaching resources to create STEAM teaching conditions. Thirdly, neatly carry out teaching evaluation to promote students’ continuous development. And fourth, actively participate in professional training to improve STEAM teaching abilities.
