2019年《地平线报告》(高等教育版)于2019年4月在美国高等教育信息化协会(EDUCAUSE)官网上正式发布。该报告首次提出“学位的模块化和分解”这一关键趋势和技术层面增加的“区块链”关键技术,体现了扩大教育机会、提升教育便捷性和分布式教育形态的趋势。在2019年度报告的六大挑战中,“提高数字的流畅性”“需求日增的数字学习体验和教学设计专业知识” “教育技术策略催生教师角色转变”和“反思教学实践”等四项主题中均涉及教师,说明教师专业发展在推动技术应用创新中所处于的滞后与急需变革的状态。基于此,以2019版报告所提出的六大关键趋势和重大挑战为主线,进一步探讨在2015-2019年高教版报告中各个趋势和挑战的内容和主要案例,以解析随技术发展而变化的历史脉络和重点。
Abstract:
EDUCAUSE released The Horizon Report (2019 Higher Education Edition) in April 2019. Based on six key trends and six significant challenges presented in the report, this article discusses the contents and certain cases of each trend and challenge in the reports over the past five years, in order to understand how these themes evolve with the development of technology. The 2019 report is the first to identify the key trend of Modularized and Disaggregated Degrees and technology improvement of "Blockchain", which reflects the trend of expanding education access, enhancing education convenience and distributed education. Among the six significant challenges, four of them involve teachers, including Improving Digital Fluency, Increasing Demand for Digital Learning Experience and Instructional Design Expertise, The Evolving Roles of Faculty with Ed Tech Strategies and Rethinking the Practice of Teaching. These four challenges clarify that reform are in great demand for teachers who are backward in promoting innovation of technology application.
